“ It's perfect! It feels like I'm eating in Korea. The food is delicious and the staff is kind. Especially, I was surprised to see them giving plastic gloves to bibim noodles. It's totally Korean style ”

“ Today, I was fired up because I was going to Hanyang Jokbal. It’s a Korean eatery beside the Jiffy Lube on Oxford St Proudfoot Ln. Their specialty is jokbal (Korean braised pork) and it takes up almost all of their menu. Before my order was brought, I was given a variety of light appetizers to keep me occupied. My favourite of these were the bean sprouts in a sweet sauce. A little after that came an appetizing soup. Both the appetizers and the soup were free. The main I ordered was the A3 Garlic Jokbal. This was quite different than how us Canadians eat pork. I could see and taste a semi-sweet garlic paste that had the consistency and colour of applesauce. In my photo, you can obviously see a big bone, but there were small bones, too. This could be hazardous, so please eat carefully. This dish came with a side of spicy rice cakes. Sadly, the side wasn’t great. At least for me, the flavours didn’t come together. Hanyang makes good use of their limited space. They built in a clever design to maximize dining capacity, without compromising customers’ comfort. Added to that, the whole dining area is wooden. The total came to 68. Jokbal is a new way you should consider to eat pork. Hanyang is the best place to try it! ”

“ This is the first time for me to take lunch in this restaurant. We feel original Korean in London. The food is clean and good. But the size of restaurant is quite small. Service and foods are all good.The other things I concern about disabilities and small children is very difficult to come with the door.Overall , so cool to recommend to come. ”

We went during early lunch/ dinner time during a weekday and had an amazing time. It was empty when we got there and got busy near to dinner time. Definitely going in again. ”
